  • How long does the full experience take?

    Most guests spend 4 to 6 hours on the island, including ferry time. Our tours are timed to fit cruise schedules, and we’ll confirm your exact check-in and ferry departure details ahead of time.

  • Is Blue Lagoon Island a real island?

    Yes! Blue Lagoon is a natural, private island with a rich Bahamian history—not man-made or resort-built. It’s owned by a local family and has remained untouched by commercial development for generations.

  • What’s included with my Dolphin Encounter or Swim?

    Every animal program includes a scenic roundtrip ferry ride, grilled lunch, beach access, and lockers. Additional photo and video packages can be purchased on-site to preserve your memories.

  • Are the animals well cared for?

    Absolutely. Our animals live in ocean-fed, all-natural habitats, and our trainers are passionate professionals certified in marine mammal care. We are proudly American Humane Certified, and guest reviews often praise the animals’ joy and health.

  • Can I bring my own camera during the tour?

    To protect both animals and guests, personal cameras, phones, and GoPros are not allowed on platforms during programs. But don’t worry—our pro photographers capture every magical moment, and you can preview and purchase photos before leaving.

  • What if I’m not a strong swimmer?

    No problem! Many of our programs take place in shallow or waist-deep water, and life vests are always provided. Our team is trained to support every age and ability level—including guests with special needs.

  • Is this safe for young kids or older adults?

    Yes. We welcome multi-generational families every day, from toddlers to grandparents. We have dedicated staff, safety protocols, and even a waterproof wheelchair for guests with mobility challenges.

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

    Safety always comes first. If weather impacts your scheduled experience, we’ll offer rescheduling or a refund based on our clear and guest-first policy. You're never left guessing—we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
