Once you arrive at this breathtaking private island, let your imagination flow in an hour-long art session, guided by a talented host who will help you create your very own masterpiece in an idyllic setting. As the paint on your artwork dries, explore Blue Lagoon’s all-natural marine habitat, where you’ll see our friendly dolphins and sea lions.   • Know Before You Go
    • All guests are required to complete a WAIVER prior to check in. Parents must complete for all minors. 
    • Sip & Paint participants wishing to upgrade to available Dolphin Swim, Dolphin Encounter, or Sea Lion Encounter spaces may apply the value of the Sip & Paint Ticket toward the purchase of the upgrade. Upgrade option available same day only and subject to availability. Ask guest services upon arrival at Blue Lagoon Island. 
  • Restrictions
    • The Sip & Paint tour is open to guests ages 6 years and up (Groups are organized in appropriate ages). 
    • Guests ages 6 to 12 must be accompanied by a responsible, ticketed parent/guardian participating in the Sip & Paint program.
    • Guests travelling with children under the age of 18 who are not participating in the Sip & Paint must have an adult present to supervise the minor(s). The accompanying adult must have a ticket to any Blue Lagoon Island program.
    • Minors and/or guests with Program Observer tickets are not allowed to accompany the Sip and Paint guest in the area while the program is in session. 
    • No drones, scuba equipment or metal detectors are allowed on the island. 
    • No outside food or drinks are allowed on the island. 
    • Blue Lagoon Island reserves the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drugs.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24-hours prior to the reserved program. Groups may require a longer cancellation period depending on size.
    • No refunds will be issued for guests who do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies.

Policies

  • Resident ID Verification
    • All guests booking with a resident rate must present a valid Bahamian government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in.
    • Failure to present valid resident ID will result in rebooking at the standard (non-resident) rate, subject to availability.
    • No exceptions will be made without proper identification at check-in.
  • Present Credit Card and ID at Time of Check-In
    • The cardholder of the credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in and show valid photo ID.
    • The same credit card used during the online booking must be physically presented by the cardholder.
      • If the credit card is not presented, the guest will be required to pay again onsite. The original payment will be refunded in full to the card used during booking.
    • Refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on the card issuer.
    • The cardholder will be required to sign a manual credit card authorization form at check-in.
  • Cruise Line Guest Instructions
    • Guests arriving via Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, or Carnival Cruise Line must contact their ship’s Shore Excursions Desk directly for reservations, assistance, or changes to their booking.
    • Blue Lagoon Island is unable to modify or manage reservations made through these cruise lines.

  • Cancellation Policy
    Reservations cancelled 24 hours or less prior to program date are non-refundable.

    Parties of 10 or more participants are subject to group cancellation arrangements as contracted. For advance cancellation, please call Toll Free (866) 918-9932 or locally at (242) 363-1003.

    No refunds will be issued for guests that are unable to meet program requirements due to age, physical fitness (only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted), maternity reasons or when company policy is violated. Please see the RESTRICTIONS posted in each program description.

    Programs operate rain or shine! All bookings are non-refundable unless Dolphin Encounters Ltd., cancels the excursion due to unforeseen circumstances (or circumstances beyond control) in this case, Dolphin Encounter Ltd., will provide full refunds of payments made.

    Dolphin Encounters Ltd., reserves the right to refuse service to any guest under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on to the island.
